Buddy was a key member of the Mollyhawkes, where he first played with Jeff Morgan. With that band, as with Hobnail, he contributed vocals and played and pennywhistle and bodhran (the Irish goatskin drum). Before that, he played “all his life” in various drum-and-bugle corps, bagpipe bands, and fife-and-drum corps. He is also currently a member of the Celtic rock band Na Bodach.
